I Didn’t Become a Coach, Just by Taking a Weekend Course

I built this from the ground up — and I mean that literally. I started where the work actually happens and worked my way through every level of the field before I ever sat on this side of the table. The credential came after years of doing the work informally — supervising clinicians, coaching direct reports, mentoring emerging leaders, and sitting with people at inflection points long before I had a formal framework for it. The certification didn't create the coach. It named what was already there and provided additional support to ethically differentiate coaching services from therapeutic services. My coaching credential and my clinical licensure are separate — different training, different frameworks, different scopes of practice — and I think that distinction matters.

I'm an LCSW, CEDS-C, MBA, and Certified Executive Coach actively pursuing my ICF ACC credential. Before all of that, I was a multi-sport student athlete and three-year collegiate co-captain who learned early that the best teams are built on trust, accountability, and leaders willing to model what conviction and care actually look like in practice.

That's not a resume. It's a foundation.

What drives me is transformation — watching someone move from uncertainty to clarity, from hesitation to intentional action, from a life that almost fits to one that actually does. The gap between potential and reality is almost never about talent. It's about intention, support, and emotional awareness. It's about trusting what your body is telling you, being honest about what drives you, and using doubt as a doorway rather than a dead end. It's about someone willing to ask the right questions—and walk alongside you while you answer them.

I don't do generic. I do deep listening, purposeful questioning, and real partnership — grounded in the belief that what you're capable of is already in you.

Ready to lead with more intention? Let's talk.
